Bible prophecy, as I have pointed out in previous posts, clearly portray America as one day ceasing to be a country of religious, and civil freedom. America will one day repudiate all of the principles of its Constitution that relate to freedom of religion, freedom of expression or speech etc.

In fact this intolerance by governments will be worldwide…"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.  And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth (commands) the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast,…And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." Revelation 13:11,15.

So we see a most startling prophecy… a prophecy wherein we are told that at length, the state will carry out the will of the church.  Worship in a prescribed fashion or you will be killed!

From this perspective we can begin to understand the reason for the erosion of many of our cherished civil liberties. These are the precursors to the final plan. 

Many Christians who support things like vouchers for private religious schools do not clearly see where this is going to end up. It takes us down the slippery road of church and state being mingled…an experiment that was conducted for all to see during the dark ages.

The fact that a forum of the presidential candidates was held at a church, and a pastor was the moderator, speaks volumes about how far we have drifted toward the principle of the dark ages…namely combining church and state.

 Brent Walker, executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee and both a member of the Supreme Court Bar and an ordained minister, wrote an article found at newsweek.washingtonpost .com and pointing out, correctly with regard to the forum held at Saddleback Church:

"It is good to hear a prominent, evangelical pastor profess his belief in the separation of church and state….

It is unfortunate that, despite his stated support for the separation of church and state, the one question directly related to the topic was framed in a leading and biased manner that brushed aside serious religious liberty concerns. Rev. Warren asked: "The Civil Rights Act of 1964 says that faith-based organizations have a right to hire people who believe like they do. Would you insist that faith-based organizations forfeit that right to access federal funds?"’

Walker continues…"Federal law does permit faith-based organizations, when using their own funds, to engage in preferential hiring practices for fellow adherents of their faith. But historically Congress has not permitted faith-based organizations to do so in programs subsidized with federal money. Until recently, this was not a controversial principle: receipt of federal tax dollars obligates the recipient to administer a nondiscriminatory hiring process in the projects so funded. If a church wants to promote religion in its social service programs, it should use its own money. If it does not want to (and, therefore, qualify for federal funding), why does it need to impose a religious test in hiring? Simply stated, tax dollars should not be used to subsidize religious discrimination. Proponents of church-state separation do not gloss over this point….

"To give these principles short shrift by glossing over complicated questions does not evince a genuine belief in, or commitment to, religious liberty and the separation of church and state that protects it. Christians who support church-state separation must walk the walk, not just talk the talk."

Again…remember…the forum in question was held at a Christian church, moderated by a Christian pastor, and both presidential candidates were there!

Incidentally…it does not matter whether it is the Christian religion, the Muslim religion, Hindu, Jewish etc…separation of church and state is necessary.

Whoever the next president is he will no doubt have to make some extremely important decisions…and you my friend, before it is over, will see the prophecies fulfilled right before your very eyes!

"Take heed that no man deceive you" Matthew 24:4, warned Jesus when speaking in context of prophetic events. One of the major ways the masses have been manipulated and controlled by tyrants…both religious and political has been information control, or information distortion…this has become known as "spinning".

In fact this information control is essentially a form of hypnotism. A presentation of facts misrepresented, half truths, or outright deception is put forth as absolute truth, and often times it has the backing of prominent television or radio personalities who influence millions! Because millions look upon these people with great admiration they often times believe whatever is said, not because it is necessarily true, but because the one that they admire so much has said it.

Such has been the case, it emerged recently, with some of the commentators of FOX news. On MSNBC’s Hardball; host Chris Matthews inquired of former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan if he considered  “FOX television as a instrument” to convey the White House’s “message out” while he was in the Bush administration. “Certainly there were commentators and other, pundits at FOX News, that were useful to the White House,” responded McClellan, adding that they were handed “talking points.”

Making a differentiation between journalists like Brit Hume and commentators like Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly, McClellan in an interview said the following: 

          MATTHEWS: So, you wouldn’t use Brit Hume to sell stuff for them, but you’d use some of the nighttime guys?

MCCLELLAN: Yeah, I would separate that out, and certainly I, you know, they’ll say, that’s because they agree with those views in the White House.

MATTHEWS: Well, they didn’t need a script though, did they?

MCCLELLAN: No, well, probably not.

McClellan acknowledged that “certainly” the White House utilized Fox News talking heads as “spokespeople” with “a script”

McClellan  told MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann that “it was practiced often, especially on high-profile issues” and that Fox oftentimes generated the White House “its desired results.”

Current Press Secretary Dana Perino would only tell Olbermann, “I’m not aware of that.”

Let the reader understand, the prophets were given divine insights to these issues. They warned us that America would eventually take on the character of the dragon, and it matters little what party is in power, because both parties have largely fallen under the deceptive power of the  dragon. When any administration can use a so called independent and private "news" organization to present a particular point of view under the guise that the information that the people are being fed is "fair and balanced"…we can safely conclude that we have become the victims of propaganda. And so understanding the seriousness of the situation the prophet John declared,  " Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12.

I read an interesting article today which, though not a religious article, I believe represents  one of the key points  of what end time Bible prophecy is concerned with; and that is warning the people about  deception.  One of the main concerns of  Bible prophecy is deception,delusion, and fabrication.  On one occasion when his disciples asked Him a question concerning the end of the world, before going into his explanation Jesus said first  " Take heed that no man deceive you…"  Matthew 24:4.  Again we read in the Revelation that the fallen angel, Satan, uses deception as his ultimate weapon. "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." Revelation 12:9. 

With that said I have added the article that I read below. In it you can get an idea of the depth of deceit and delusion which surrounds us daily.

 "Are you enjoying watching the fake Olympics? By "fake," of course, I’m referring to all the fabrications that have emerged since the opening of the event. Each day, it seems, brings news of yet another fabrication by China. Here’s a short list of the fabrications that have been discovered so far:

• The weather is fake: Beijing is usually a smog pit with air so polluted that city-dwellers there almost never see the sun. To artificially clean up the air and create the image that Beijing is a clean city (it isn’t), Chinese officials ordered the shutting down of virtually all manufacturing plants, coal-fired power plants, and automobiles. They’ve basically shut down Beijing to create the impression that it’s a clean city, and when there’s still smog, they just call it, "mist." (Tony Snow couldn’t have spun it better, huh?)

• The free speech is fake:All the freedom protesters who might have spoken out against China during the Olympics have been arrested and imprisoned, thereby creating the impression that there is no public dissent in China. (Need a kidney, anyone? Organs are suddenly available…)

• The opening ceremony was faked:The fireworks displayed during the opening ceremony were faked using pre-programmed computer generated images. Instead of watching live fireworks, viewers around the world were actually watching 3D computer animation.

• The Internet access is censored:Reporters from around the world have all had their internet access censored by Chinese authorities, restricting them from accessing websites that might be "dangerous" (like sites on religion or meditation).

• The singing was lip-synced by a pretty girl to replace an ugly girl:It turns out the beautiful voice singing the opening song of the ceremony did not belong to the face of the girl who was lip-syncing it. The actual singer, it turns out, was a bit too ugly to represent China, so they faked it and replaced the girl’s face with a cuter-looking girl who lip-synced the whole performance. Millie Vanilli, anyone?

• Swimmer Michael Phelps’ food is fake: Consuming a whopping 12,000 calories a day, Michael Phelps is a junk food junkie powered by empty calories. While you can get away with that when you’re 23 and exercising six hours a day, if Phelps continues his ingestion of fake food beyond his peak training years, he’ll soon have REAL diabetes and obesity. Fat makes you float, by the way, so it might actually provide real buoyancy to his swimming career…

• The ages and passports are faked:The Chinese gymnastics team won gold, helped in part by a tiny gymnast who, according to China’s own media, was 13 years old just nine months ago. Amazingly, she is now 16 years old, which just happens to be the minimum age to compete in the Olympics. This astonishing acceleration of aging is, of course, fully denied by Chinese authorities who provided forged passports for the girl to "prove" she was really 16. The IOC apparently has no interest in investigating this apparent fraud.

So I hope you’re enjoying the fake Olympics. Most of the athletes are real, of course. Their remarkable feats of human artistry, strength, endurance and athleticism are real, but the whole show surrounding it is fake, fake, fake! It’s all a fabricated show to keep the world occupied while your money, your health and your future is stolen from you by the criminal institutions of the world (governments, corporations, etc.), many of which are actually sponsoring the Olympics.

Much in America is fabricated, too…

Now, just in case you think China is the only country engaged in fakery, let me remind you that the United States is just as fake, but in different ways. In the U.S.:

• The war on terrorism is fake: It was all fabricated to keep the population in a state of fear so they wouldn’t notice their freedoms being stolen away.

• The mainstream media is fake: The news is largely fabricated or selectively edited to brainwash American consumers into thinking they live in a free country. Corporate press releases are run as "news" and any real news that threatens big advertisers is routinely censored.

• The money supply is fake: The U.S. is running on monetary fumes, borrowing trillions from countries like China that actually have REAL money, all while claiming the national debt doesn’t matter anymore. (It does.)

• The housing bubble was fake: As publicly predicted here on NaturalNews nearly two years ago, the housing bubble was fake, creating false wealth that created the impression that the economy was doing well. The whole thing was a charade, of course, and now housing values are plummeting and consumer spending is in a tailspin.

• Health care is fake: There’s no "health" in health care, and the entire disease industry in the United States is based on keeping people sick, ignorant and bankrupt.

• The corporate green movement is fake: Corporations love to act like they’re really "green" even as they continue polluting the planet.

• Even the breasts are fake! The U.S. is the plastic surgery capital of the world, where moms are now giving their teenage daughters breast augmentation surgery as a high school graduation present.

It’s quite fitting, then, that American viewers who live in a fabricated American reality can watch the fake Olympics by tuning into a fake television network where they can watch a fake opening ceremony that celebrates competition among fraudulent Olympics participants who compete for the only thing that’s still real in this global economy: GOLD!"

" And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. " Daniel 11:40.

The "King of the North" is symbolic language representing the same power identified in Revelation by the prophet, John, when he declares, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority." Revelation 13:1,2.   

The prophet, Daniel explains this power, and therefore its principles, saying that "he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over". Thus the prophet presents all of the countries falling under the ultimate influence of the mysterious "King Of the North"; and his influence, as has been noted in other articles on this blog, is opposed to all of the civil and religious liberties afforded by the principles of the Bible.

Against this backdrop we see the mysterious influence of the power of the "King Of the North" being exercised as reported by the  Guardian. The publication, in an article today said, "The Big Apple is turning into Big Brother, civil liberties groups have warned in response to a new plan from New York city’s police chiefs to photograph every vehicle entering Manhattan and hold the details on a massive database."

The article explained that in a plan dubbed Operation Sentinel  "New York’s police commissioner, Raymond Kelly, has proposed a major extension of security measures around the city designed to prevent a third attack on the World Trade Centre as the rebuilding of Ground Zero gathers pace.

"As well as placing cameras at all tunnels and bridges into Manhattan, the 36-page plan, called Operation Sentinel, calls for a security ring to be erected at Ground Zero and for a 50-mile buffer zone around the city within which mobile units would search for nuclear or "dirty" bombs.

"The proposals are partly based on the so-called ring of steel erected around the City of London in the wake of IRA bombings in the 1990s. Though the 3,000 cameras that could be mounted as a result of the plans of the New York police pale in comparison with the multitude of cameras in operation on the UK’s roads and in public places, the proposals have provoked outrage in the United States, where the concept of video surveillance is relatively unfamiliar"

You will note that the article pointed out that the 3000 cameras that could be mounted as result of this operation would " pale in comparison with the multitude of cameras in operation on the UK’s roads and in public places". Again we are reminded of the prophecy that all of the countries would fall under his influence, and his influence it is becoming clear is complete control.

The article noted in closing that, "The plan to video the number plates of every vehicle would be applied to all points of entry into Manhattan, including the main Brooklyn-Battery, Holland, Lincoln and Midtown tunnels and Brooklyn, Manhattan and other bridges. Details would be kept on computer for a month.’

Although the official story says a month, the prophecy indicates that the principles of the dragon  will come to complete fruition…in America, and around the world. Jesus has warned us to take heed to His prophets…Indeed…WE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE PROPHETS.

  "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast." Revelation 17:12 .

In the above words of the prophet, John, we are told that there will eventually develop a worldwide confederacy of the "beast" with "ten kings" who have received no kingdom as yet, for a prophetic time period of "one hour".

 The number ten as used in the above prophecy represents a univeral  consenses of the world’s rulers with the "beast" power. These, declares the prophet, "have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." Revelation 17.13. You will notice that the kings "give" their power and strength to the beast. What type of power do kings have? They have political power. But here prophecy represents that they will give this power to the beast who is a religious power! It will be recalled that the central "beast" power of Revelation comes to us from the religious, as opposed to the political realm–  "And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" Revelation 13.4.

So the beast is seen to receive worship which is applicable in a religious setting, but he eventually arrives at the point where we shall see this primarily religious power fuse incredible political power with his religious power for a combination of church and state which John warns us saying this combined power "shall make war with the Lamb".

Additionally, current events have shown us that the major corporations will also be involved. In fact many of the most powerful and richest people in the world have very close ties with many of the leaders of the world’s governments, and as a result, the civil liberties of the so-called common people are not regarded. The former governor of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, is one politician that has a very accurate view on many of these issues and points out that even in America facism is alive and well. Watch HIS CRITIQUE in  the Fox News Video below you would do well to listen very closely to what he is saying….WE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE PROPHETS.

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him" " Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." The prophet, John, here pulls aside the curtain and allows us to understand a bit of the supernatural world that influences events more than most understand or would care to admit. He paints a picture that warns the earth of the wrath of the "dragon" and his "angels". This wrath includes the dragon  (working chiefly through human beings, and even in some cases evil angels that have assumed human appearance) to crush out human liberty and freedom. Thus even "free" America, in perfect step with the testimony  of the Bible prophets, is repudiating the principles that made her great  through various laws, polices and enactments…public and secret!

One of the latest in the saga reads…"Federal agents may take a traveler’s laptop or other electronic device to an off-site location for an unspecified period of time without any suspicion of wrongdoing, as part of border search policies the Department of Homeland Security recently disclosed. Also, officials may share copies of the laptop’s contents with other agencies and private entities for language translation, data decryption or other reasons, according to the policies, dated July 16 and issued by two DHS agencies, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement." wrote Ellen Nakashima (washingtonpost.com updated 12:54 a.m. ET, Fri., Aug. 1, 2008)

The article went on to point out that, "DHS officials said that the newly disclosed policies — which apply to anyone entering the country, including U.S. citizens — are reasonable and necessary to prevent terrorism. Officials said such procedures have long been in place but were disclosed last month because of public interest in the matter."

Hence the procedures were already being secretly carried out, it was only "disclosed last month because of public interest in the matter".

The public interest apparently started because, as the article pointed out, "Civil liberties and business travel groups have pressed the government to disclose its procedures as an increasing number of international travelers have reported that their laptops, cellphones and other digital devices have been taken — for months, in at least one case — and their contents examined."

These polices allow the authorities to "detain" laptops  for what they define as a reasonable amount of time. During this time they "review and analyze information."  This may take place "absent individualized suspicion"; in other words the person may not be suspected of anything, or even look suspicious…whatever that is. The article went on to point out that, "The policies cover "any device capable of storing information in digital or analog form," including hard drives, flash drives, cell phones, iPods, pagers, beepers, and video and audio tapes. They also cover "all papers and other written documentation," including books, pamphlets and "written materials commonly referred to as ‘pocket trash’ or ‘pocket litter.’ "

This is indeed an astonishing thing to be happening in America! "The policies . . . are truly alarming," said Sen. Russell Feingold (D-Wis.), who is probing the government’s border search practices. He said he intends to introduce legislation soon that would require reasonable suspicion for border searches, as well as prohibit profiling on race, religion or national origin.’ " continued the article.

Quoting attorney, Greg Nojeim, the artcle pointed out further:  "They’re saying they can rifle through all the information in a traveler’s laptop without having a smidgen of evidence that the traveler is breaking the law," said Greg Nojeim, senior counsel at the Center for Democracy and Technology. Notably, he said, the policies "don’t establish any criteria for whose computer can be searched."

Finally it should be an ominous sign that In April, the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in San Francisco upheld the government’s power to conduct searches of an international traveler’s laptop even an American citizen without suspicion of wrongdoing.  WE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE PROPHETS.
