Maybe many of the early Prohibitionists did not really intend to kill hundreds of thousands worldwide, or put once in every 30 American adults under supervision of the correctional system. But similar to our “Great Experiment” of the 1920s, the prohibition of various other drugs has once again spawned rampant off-the-scale criminality & corruption, a bust economy, mass unemployment, a mind-boggling incarceration rate, a civil war in Mexico, an un-winnable war in Afghanistan and an even higher rate of drug-use (both legal & illegal) than in all other countries that have far more sensible policies.

Prohibition is nothing less than a grotesque dystopian nightmare; if you support it you must be ignorant, stupid, brainwashed, insane or corrupt.

YOu have got to be the biggest hypocrite that I have ever seen. Really, now you want to holler rules (who had to tell you this? Greta, because you were too dumb to realize it before) . How about doing that when you violated the ethics rules in congress. YOu may have a lot of people fooled but the critical thinkers read the record. You made a deal to make the investigation go away. I remind everyone of this everytime I see your name.Until I actually saw you and listened to your revisionist historym I didn’t mind having you as a candidate. Spinning this as now Romney doesn’t really win a state outright. Like if this is the rule he could have. YOu are disgusting and not worthy to be called a conservative.

My Father was enlisted in the Navy for 20 years and my husband is currently serving as an officer so I have a lot of life experience growing up and living the military lifestyle. I appreciated reading this article because it accurately depicted military life for most people. The medical care and NEX/Commissary privileges really make a difference in the family budget but I do understand their desire to hold off having childrenuntil they are more financially stable. Military life isn’t for everyone but since Jason already has a commitment, I personally think he should reconsider getting out of the military since healthcare is covered by Tricare and he and his wife could finish more of their education. Then they could move off base, collect Basic Housing for Allowance at his rank’s pay rate and if he had any chance to deploy overseas or even to places around the country, he would get bonus pay that would definitely help his family out financially. No one said the military life would be easy and sometimes you have to sacrifice things like spending time with your family but that’s something everyone knows when they sign up to serve their country. It might not be the most glamorous life but it’s a rewarding one and the experiences only make a family stronger. I wish Jason and his family all the best. Go Navy!

This is just unbelievable. How is it possible that in one of the most free and democratic countries, a law can be passed that can lock up one of its citizens without charge. Not even Chairman Mao or Stalin would have enacted such a hideous law. This is a joke and must be overturned. Let’s hope Europe and the rest of the word do not do the same thing.

I really like this article. I am glad to see someone say that God allows these things. All I hear today is watered down to fit the way people want to live and justify themselves with twisting the Bible to fit their beliefs instead of asking the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us as to what GOD is telling us through His Word. I believe we are in the beginning of sorrows yet the end is not come because Jesus said to expect these things. He said that by the fig tree we can discern the signs of the coming season. We can look at the world and see that the seaon is coming. We need to make sure our lamps have been trimmed and filled with oil to be ready when the bridegroom comes.
